Residents in the greater Mercer County area with a chronic condition and who can’t afford to meet their food needs have a place to turn.
In January, RWJBarnabas Health opened a Food Farmacy at Robert Wood Johnson Fitness & Wellness Center at 3100 Quakerbridge Road, Hamilton.
The Food Farmacy expands access to nutritious food, personalized nutrition counseling and education designed to support the total wellbeing of patients and families. Club President Stan Plytynski provided the Farmacy with a $4,000 check from our club’s Foundation to support the program. |
