| It was an education theme at our Rotary meeting on March 6 as we heard from a dynamic group of Students of the Month and learned of the unique role filled by Thomas Edison State University (TESU). The students - Betsy Jimenez, Hamilton West; Mack Scherer, Steinert; and Katherine Wagner, Nottingham - told us of their activities in and out of school that left us wondering how they could possibly fit it all in. (Our student from Robbinsville H.S. was on a school trip and will be recognized next month) Dr. Dennis Devery, Vice President for Enrollment Management at TESU, informed us of the history, prominent alumni and accommodating role of the 11,000-student, almost exclusively online university. For more on the school’s extensive list of offerings, visit tesu.edu. |
