Our trusty crew of volunteers packed bags of food on January 22 that filled seven pallets and will yield 2,240 meals for distribution by the Mercer Street Friends Food Bank. This monthly activity is one of the ways our club is helping to combat food insecurity in our area.
Meanwhile, the last batch of the nearly 5,000 pairs of socks donated as part of our joint Socktober campaign with schools was delivered on January 21 to the Salvation Army in Trenton. Thanks again to all who contributed. |
