The Rotary Club planted single trees in Robbinsville and Hamilton this week to honor the communities and promote conservation - building on the club’s 30th Anniversary tree plantings last year.

In consultation with the townships, the club planted a Dawn Redwood on the Hoagland tract at Sayen Gardens in Hamilton and a Syringa “Ivory Silk” Lilac Tree near the Rotary Gazebo on Lake Drive in Robbinsville. Plaques will be installed at the base of the trees in the coming weeks.

The club last year planted commemorative trees near the Rotary Gazebo in Robbinsville, at the Miracle League of Mercer County field in Hamilton, and near the main entrance to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton.
The tree plantings were coordinated by Club President-Elect Joe Cavone with the support of the club's Board of Directors led by Club President George Ott.
