A record number of backpacks and school supplies were donated to the Wilson and Greenwood elementary schools in Hamilton thanks to the generosity of Rotarians, community members and a Robbinsville youth group.
More than 200 backpacks filled with essential school items - a record for our Rotary Club - were delivered to the schools on August 15 and 18.
Special thanks to Rotarians Linda Gearren and Janice Miller who coordinated the annual drive and to the teenage members of the Robbinsville chapter of PURE (People for Urban and Rural Education) who helped collect the supplies and load them into backpacks. |
