 | We were pleased to present a Rotary Community Service Award to Robbinsville Mayor Dave Fried on December 19 as he addressed our weekly meeting on Zoom in one of his last talks as the township’s chief executive. Accepting his Rotary award was Rotarian Jodi Stephens, the township’s Assistant Business Administrator and Confidential Aide to the mayor. Mayor Fried, who decided not to seek reelection after serving 25 years as mayor, looked back on his terms in office and credited his strong team for helping him achieve his major goals, including several copied around the state. He made particular note of the fact that the township itself has not raised taxes in more than a decade and that property values soared from one of the lowest in the county to one of the highest, rivaling even Princeton. |
